A/V+면 좋겠다 ~ Expresses subjects wish or desire

To express a subjects wish or desire, we can use 면 좋겠다 in combination with a verb or adjective. It may be translated as “it would be good/great if A/V”. When using this point in conversation, using the past form is natural even if the situation doesn’t imply past tense.

Examples
시간이 천천히 갔으면 좋겠어요.
It would be good if time went slowly
오늘 밤에 날씨가 좋았으면 좋겠어요.
I hope the weather will be good.
같이 가면 좋겠어요.
It would be good if we can go together.
