A/V+아/어(서) 죽겠다 ~ To be dying from A/V

Using the expression A/V+아/어(서) 죽겠다, we may exaggerate or express how excess something is, so much so that we are dying from it.

나 배고파서 죽겠어요.
I’m dying of hunger.
사무실 난방 안되요! 얼어 죽겠어요.
The office heating is not working! I’m freezing to death.
아! 무서워 죽겠어요!
Ah! I’m so scared.
